Merger

When human beings are bound together to death do they part, it is called a marriage.

When companies do it, it is called a merger. Well, mostly. Sometimes its a takeover but lets not split hairs on that one.

Many has congratulated me on the proposed merger of the Company that I work for with another. Apparently the merged entity would be of gargantuan proportions.

I am not impressed. I was not told of this sooner. I did not buy any shares in the Company.I will not get rich from it.

The near future would be hell on earth to do all things necessary pursuant to the merger.

All this done and I may not even have a job at the end of it all.

There is no need to congratulate me.

I guess I would now have to consider a career in politics. Free time would be avalaible to me soon I presume. I can fill it by attending political gatherings. Since I have nothing invested, I will like most politicians, bellow hot air, as it is free.

I will have other fellow unemployed people listen to me. I will talk about everything and nothing. They will love me!
